In recent years, one of the growing concerns that I have heard among Christian communities in many countries, is the increasing number of single individuals in the church. This refers to those who are neither engaged nor married, spanning a wide age range. I understand that women in their mid-thirties and beyond often face heightened anxiety, fear, doubt, depression, discouragement, feelings of rejection and societal or family pressure. “Time is running out,” “just find someone and settle down,” people would say. Yet there is a triumphant journey that you can utilize your time as a single woman to embark on before you get married. Move from worry, uncertainty, condemnation and fear to a place of reaffirmed identity, freedom, love, hope, trust, faith, peace, joy, purpose, beauty, abundance, restoration and the establishment of the most important relationship—the relationship with my eternal Bridegroom, Lord Jesus (God). A relationship that is not transactional but transformational.

I sense that the move of God is sweeping mightily through the earth. We will witness increased miracles and blessings as God’s hand comes upon women whom society may have deemed too old for success, childbearing, marriage, restoration and other blessings. The glory of God will be manifested through these women and only He can take all the praise.
